The festival is hosted on the highest playground of the world situated at 3700m above the sea level and with gigantic mountains fencing the valley giving a jaw dropping touch to the scenery. Branding Pakistan – Positive role of youth by Amnah Farid

The Youth of Pakistan are also known as the “Nation Builders” and we can play a vital role in the development of the country not only economically but also by morally and practically. We have to erase the differences and opposition by people and make constant efforts to make Pakistan grow and fulfill the basic needs of the people which are below the poverty line. We all are aware of the fact that Pakistan is in danger, it is basically strong in the field of weapons but between the people of Pakistan there is so much difference and contradictions that they don’t even try to unite as one. To be one and keep united the people of Pakistan have to eradicate the internal disputes prevailing between them. We have to wake up from a deep sleep and invoke the spirit of our founder and bring back our country to its feet.

According to a survey, an overwhelming majority of the youth (61.8%) has faith in democracy and peaceful change, as they believe that their vote can be a catalyst for change. An amazing majority of youth (72.6%) is willing to get involved in volunteerism but only 17% are willing to do voluntary work for political parties. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah used his ability and skills and by showing extra-ordinary courage, which he manifested in the process of creation of Pakistan and the fight he fought in all quarters during his lifetime. The people of Pakistan will always remain in debt to this great man and sacrifices given by millions of martyrs. We are on a hopeless journey but still we have to try to make efforts for the betterment of the society and develop an positive thinking. We should not lose the right path by simply seeing what kind of absurdities and unfair means are already being followed by our people, rather we should exemplify good patterns of behavior for the coming generations. Shabana Fayyaz, lecturer of Quaid-e-Azam University who said that “The best investment under current scenarios would be empowering the youth”. She added that: “We are surrounded by multiple crises and we cannot meet these challenges without an active participation of the youth as a catalyst of change.”

We are Young Seagulls, trying to fly without feathers. Our precious gems and valuable assets, youth, in the shape of brilliant students, professionals and people in all walks of life are being discouraged, exploited and humiliated by the corrupt lobby. The problem of the emotional and impatient Pakistanis is diagnosed. The solution is in our hands. They need to change themselves and their attitude and approach must base on sensibility, responsibility, tolerance and patience.  Only then we will be able to achieve a Positive and Green Pakistan.

Facing the Reality by Zunaira Naeem

I am going to talk about people who are becoming replicas of celebrities and who are getting in this absurd competition with people who they look up to. Might it be a friend or someone who inspires them but rather then accepting the fact that they look up to them, they start to say “she or he is copying me” how hard would it be for you lot to accept the fact that you actually are inspired by someone’s style, personality or might it be anything? Karl Lagerfeld, Elie Saab and all the rest of the designers get “inspired” by something in their life and that is how you see these fashion weeks and their collections because nobody is born with a mind of a genius, we all get inspirations.

The society we live in is becoming so competitive that at times I feel people will just walk over the person who actually made them what they are today. Everyone asks for fashion and life advice but do they actually imply it on themselves? No, because everyone today thinks they are a photographer because they took a few good pictures, a blogger because blogging is in trend, a make-up artist because they can put a liner straight? Gone are the days when people used to give credits or good remarks to those whom they have actually learned a lot from. My only question is why so hate and competition? People who never compete always get ahead, that’s because they focus on themselves not others, it’s because they’re that much contend that they’ll say it up straight who they got inspired from. So how long will it take for you all out there to give credits to those people who have made you who you are? Stop hating, stop criticizing because not only will it affect your mind which I am sure is capable to achieve a lot more then you can imagine. And stop this competition with each other .We all are average people, living a normal life get out of your fantasy world and appreciate if someone younger to you is doing something good, in simple words stop all this before your mind gets rotten by taking out flaws in every single person you know and focus on yourself, because you actually will be surprised to see how much flaws you have within yourself that you need to get rid of.

Hospitality of Pakistanis By Danyal Safdar

Germany is associated with automotive, Japan with technology, Indian with diverse culture, so our efforts with branding should portray a good image in the circle of globe.  Pakistani are known for their people especially the hosting of the citizens of Pakistan. Pakistan has something that is more unique than a simple tourist destination as its highlight, what makes it special is something that not many countries have. It’s something that the country should be proud of, for what makes Pakistan special is the hospitality and kind nature of its people. That is something that the people of Pakistan should be immensely proud of. I have been touched by the generosity and the kindness of the people here, the conversations that I have had with complete strangers have been some of the most inspirational conversations that I have ever had. I have been welcomed in to  homes, invited around for cups of tea and been graced with your heart warming hospitality. The people here are brave and are resilient, many have grown up with very little and yet they want to give so much. Pakistanis are loved for their hospitality towards others and a wrong image of Pakistanis being terrorist is portrayed in the world rather they are the most humble people.
